Well… this is hardly the first time I've enjoyed a show that got canned. I just read that Matthew Perry's show, Go On, is probably being cancelled.
I'll miss it. I've really been enjoying this one. It's quirky and silly and a bit odd, but I've enjoyed it enough to keep watching, which is more than I can say for a LOT of other shows.
It's not for sure yet, so I'll cross my fingers and hope it comes back. Maybe I'll luck out on this one.
I didn't watch it as often as I'd have liked, but what I did see was good. I have no idea how shows like Everybody Loves Raymond can run for years and years when the stuff with strong writing seems to keep being obliterated.
Well… to be fair… I don't even know that the writing was all that strong… but I liked the characters and they had enough moments that made me openly chuckle to keep me coming back.
The overall story arc was a bit scattered and sometimes seemed to be reaching for ideas… but it's a sitcom. It doesn't really need one.
